How to request deletion

To request that your account and its data be deleted, email us from the email address associated with your Recipe One account:

What data is deleted

When your deletion request is processed, we permanently delete the personal data associated with your account, including:

• Your account and login credentials (email, name, sign-in identifiers)
• Your saved recipes and uploaded content
• Your cookbooks and grocery lists
• Your in-app preferences and settings

What data may be kept, and for how long

We delete your account and associated personal data within 30 days of a verified request. We may retain a limited set of records for longer only where required:

• Purchase and transaction records that we are required to keep for legal, tax, and accounting purposes — retained for up to 7 years, then deleted.
• A minimal record needed to prevent fraud, abuse, or to comply with a legal obligation — kept only for as long as necessary.
• Aggregated or anonymized data that can no longer be used to identify you.
